I think it's because they flock so thickly in places that they become a problem; they drop guano everywhere and kill trees. But I still love them, just like I love pigeons and gulls. Besides, they've got beautiful eyes.

I agree, but then, I love pigeons and gulls too. I hate it when people call them "shit birds" etc. People don't like animals that are adaptable - they like the ones that cannot survive and need protecting because they cannot eat garbage and survive pollution.
