But honestly, I do love them, even if they're not my favourite raptor. And even though Jazzy performed an amazing fly-over yesterday and pooped all over my shoulder.
Sigh.
(They're a hell of a lot of fun to draw, though!)
Edit: Guys, seriously, this is a joke! I love owls! I'm not insulting anyone's favourite birds-- I LOVE BIRDS. YOU KNOW THIS. Hahah, oh man.
I don't love owls because they're "mysterious". I just think they're pretty.. I blame that on Labyrinth really. That, and my mom and I once saw an owl in our hen/chicken/whatever-yard, where it was trying to catch mice but got startled by us. I didn't get a good look, but though it looked a bit like a barn-owl it was a bit bigger. (It paused once by flying from the yard, up in our cherry-tree and gave us a VERY offended look before it took off XD)
Also saw different vultures at Birdworld in the UK... HUUGE mofos! I should have some pictures I can try and upload if you like =3
Saw a horned owl of a kind too, and it hooted at me and a friend XD And all the while, the one we think was its mate or friend looked at us and just...well, looked pissed XD

I dont hate owls, but I dont really like them either. I like the barn owl because of its colours. It reminds me of Caramel and milk~! Mmmmm~
But the grey owl has, and always will scare the shit out of me. I mean, look at that!

I have tons of turkey vultures around my house. They are pretty cool. I drew one about a mount ago... They look like death iteself is decenting upon you with those huge black wings and that solum glide. Barn owls are pretty cool though... But I guess its' one of those things that are best to admire from a distance.

Yea, I'd definitely have a rant or two if I had to clean up for them as well.
